Isn't this illegal? What if an ICBE member had had an application in front of the Board of Adjustment? Wasn't Oury's firm representing the BoA during this abuse of power? Clearly, a conflict of interest, no?

Well, there was DOCKET #BADV-05/020 for starters. And, of course, a number of ICBE members and supporters testify at meetings.

Councilwoman Maureen Holtje has a problem concealing her distain for the public, she is vindictive by nature which is not a good quality for an elected official.

I don't know why Ms. Holtje acts the way she does. She's a liar and a very dishonest person, based on my interactions with her and what I've seen from her at council meetings and in public. She's a typical politician, just like Neda Rose, Dave Jordan, and especially Mayor Nancy Merse. They will say anything to appease residents. It makes my blood boil. I wish, just for once, there could be honest people in office who care about people, especially in today's world.
